I'm back home again from my two week South Island Tour. As you probably know, I took my knitting with me, but hardly touched it. I didn't want to be knitting in the coach, and after a day sight seeing, plus a big dinner together every night, I was just too tired. But I did almost finish my Wuthering Heights book, nearly at the end of that. A good thing too, as I'm off to see the movie very soon, and I wanted to refresh my memory of the convoluted story.
I was sent a picture of Muffy from the cattery which shows her completely relaxed. She was grumpy in the mornings, and all lovey dovey later in the afternoons, I was told. She always did have a mind of her own, I told Carol. Now home, Gemma hid away in her tower for a while, she then came looking for a cuddle, and some food. All is forgiven!
That's all for now, it was a great trip, and I'm happy to be home in my own bed again. I'll tell you more about the wonderful places and adventures I had shortly.

That two weeks seems to have flown. How wonderful to meet new people and discover new places. Gemma must be glad to be home, too.
Welcome home to you and Gemma. It is so good to read your words. Marthanne
Glad Gemma could turn her days around while you were on your trip. What a fun looking shop. I bet I could spend some time in there just looking around.
Happy you had a nice time on your trip and that Gemma did ok at the cattery. She must be happy that you are back!
Im glad you had a good trip and kitty was ok in the cattery. she really does look relaxed! I get a bit over whelmed when I visit a new quilt shop, I find it best to go with a project in mind and that tends to focus me! Sarah Quilting by the sea
Sounds like you had a lovely time! I'm sure Gemma is delighted to be home as well.
Welcome back! I am looking forward to your tales
Nice the cattery sent you photos. Gemma does look very relaxed.
Always great to be home to your own bed....
that looks like a nice shopping area. Glad you had fun and kitty was somewhat happy to see you - cat's can be stuck up at times can't they.
I hope you had a wonderful time on your trip, Jenny! The Pin Tin is the perfect name for a quilt shop. Glad Gemma is allowing you to come home again! 😊
Glad you had a good time Jenny!
I love traveling with you! :)
I am pleased you had a lovely time. I agree, it is always lovely to come home to your own bed.
Welcome home, Jenny! Cute Gemma looks very relaxed. I'm sure she's happy being home again too.
I’m glad you enjoyed your trip down south and look forward to hearing about it. Joey used to snob us after a holiday for a short while and then was very clingy for a while. I’m glad Gemma has forgiven you. Lou always mentions the shop in Geraldine. One of my stitching friends is going to the South Island this month and I told her about it. Have fun using the panel.
I always take my knitting or embroidery with me and really very rarely touch it when on a holiday tour.
God bless.
Wow, has it been two weeks...yes it seems to have flown by! Sounds like a wonderful time and how wonderful to know Gemma also fared well. She is a beauty isn't she. Yes, I feel overwhelmed in quilt stores too.
