A little Extra for Christmas

Christmas wasn’t quite over for me, I was told.  My daughter Nicky had ordered me an on-line gift which never arrived in time for the big day.  As we were on a caravan holiday quite close to their home town, we called in and collected it earlier this week.  And what a lovely gift it was – just right for a couple of “Happy Campers” who enjoy going away for trips in the caravan.

Nicky also gave me a lovely Christmas Poinsettia.  I’m not usually very good with pot plants, so I’ll have to be really careful to look after it well.  It survived several days tripping around in the caravan, and is now safely home.

Where did she find that fabulous cushion ? Indoor plants, I have no luck at all, they droop, and shrivel up, and get delegated to the big outdoors.

Such a lovely and appropriate cushion, Jenny. Enjoy the beauty of the poinsettia.

I'm interested in seeing that people put up Christmas lights outside down your way too. It is a thing to do here to go for an evening drive and look at the lights. Like the folks you visited, some people go all out.
Lovely stitching on the go and how perfect, a Happy Campers cushion!

Your daughter surely had you in mind when she purchased that cushion. It's really pretty.

Our priest planted old poinsettias in his yard and they bloomed in July! Here in Louisiana where it's so hot. I have no idea what he did to keep them alive, but it means that your plant has a good chance, especially since it handled the drive. How to care for it...well, as the kids say, "Google it." :-)
