Sad News at Christmas

It won’t be such a joyous Christmas this year as sadly Robin’s Mum passed away last night.  Bonnie had just turned 91, and had spent the last couple of weeks in and out of hospital, with her health and strength rapidly failing.  With her only daughter Kaye flying in from Vietnam for Christmas, Bonnie held on to the last minute and thankfully the two of them had some time together before the end.
Robin will need extra looking after and plenty of hugs during this busy period as he and his brothers start the process of arranging the funeral and a myriad of other associated tasks.

Sympathy and loving thoughts with you both, Robin, no matter how old we are, our Mums are still "Mum" no matter how old they are either. Jenny, all that baking might be shared in a different way now. Hugs to you both, Jean.

Such sad news to hear at Christmas, a time for family to be together. You can be blessed that all of Robin's family were together at the last to be with their beloved Mum. Thoughts are with you both at this sad time.

It doesn't matter how much you may expect it, it is still a shock. I'm sending hugs, be sure to pass them along to Robin.
